【临夏的古往今来】
临夏史称河州，迄(qi)今已有两千多年历史，是古丝绸之路南道重镇，素有“茶马互市”“西部旱码头”“河湟雄镇”之称，也是中国著名的“花儿之乡”“彩陶之乡”“牡丹之乡”。
临夏市是丝绸之路经济带甘肃黄金段上的重要节点，有着得天独厚的区位优势，形成了比较稳固的商贸物流通道。这里文旅景点星罗棋布、风格迥异，是兰州—临夏—甘南—九寨沟民族风情旅游线上的中转站和旅游目的地，牛羊肉、酿酒、地毯加工业蒸蒸日上，手工雕刻、制香等特色旅游产品不断崛起，共同造就了临夏厚积薄发的文旅产业。
【临夏的青砖古巷】
这片神奇美丽的土地上，生活着汉、回、东乡、保安等18个民族50万人民，形成了独具特色的多元文化。“八坊十三巷”无疑是这种独特魅力的一个缩影，她是民族建筑艺术的博览园，民族团结进步的大观园，见证着河州的风雨沧桑，承载着临夏的开放发展。
坊芳传华夏，巷香溢神州。置身八坊十三巷，青砖古巷、老屋旧物，一座座融合了木雕、砖雕、彩绘的古建筑院落，一条条展示回儒文化、丝路风情、非遗传承的幽静厢巷，仿佛是时空穿梭，带您重温河州底蕴。“文化为先、利民为本”“不拆一户墙、不迁一家人”“景观进巷、商业进院”的保护开发思路，唤醒了河州民俗文化的记忆，往昔的“城中村”嬗变成文旅新地标，受到国务院通报表扬。
【临夏的姹紫嫣红】
牡丹随处有，胜绝是河州。河州牡丹历史悠久、堪称一绝，其典型代表紫斑牡丹，因其花瓣基部有一个明显的色斑而得名，以花冠大、香味浓郁，根、皮、仔、仁可供药用等特点享誉华夏。2019年，紫斑牡丹惊艳亮相世界园艺博览会，获得银奖。
每年五月，春色满园，天地秀逸，一年一度的河州牡丹文化月如期而至。步入六十里牡丹长廊，一股清新、高雅、馥郁的香风迎面扑来，令人心驰神往。今天的紫斑牡丹，已经从庭院栽培的小天地，走向城市绿化、产业发展的大世界，成了美丽临夏的新名片。

Linxia through the ages
Linxia was called Hezhou in the history,with a history of more than two thousand years up to now.It is an important town along the south road of the ancient silk road.Known as "tea and horse trade", "western dry dock", "famous town of Hehuang",also Chinese famous "flower town", "colorful pottery town", "peony town".Linxia is an important node in the golden section of Gansu on the silk road economic belt.It has unique geographical advantages and formed a relatively stable trade and logistics channel.The cultural and tourist attractions here are dotted with different styles.They are transit stations and tourist destinations on the Lanzhou-Linxia-Gannan-Jiuzhaigou ethnic customs tourism line. Beef and mutton, brewing, carpet processing industry is booming, special tourism products such as hand-carved, fragrance-made are rising,which jointly created Linxia’s well-developed cultural tourism industry.
The black brick and ancient lane in Linxia

Beautiful flowers of Linxia
Peony is everywhere,and the most beautiful is in Hezhou.Hezhou peony has a long history and can be regarded as a unique.Its typical representative is paeonia rockii.It is named for its obvious spot on the base of petals.with large corolla large, fragrant, root, skin, son, kernel for medicine and other characteristics famous in China.In 2019, paeonia rockii appeared at the World Horticultural Exposition and won the silver award.Every May,the garden is full of spring color, the world is beautiful,and the annual Hezhou peony culture month arrives as scheduled.Stepping into the sixty mile peony promenade, a fresh, elegant and mellow fragrance rushes on,which is fascinating.Today's paeonia rockii，has gone from a small world cultivated in the garden，to a large world of urban greening and industrial development, and has become a new business card for beautiful Linxia.
