大家好！我是安徽省淮南市毛集实验区工委书记胡林娜，非常高兴能够在“中国推介”和大家见面！俗话说，“走千走万，不如淮河两岸”。在淮河之畔，有这么一座城市，她以生态文明为魂，以文化旅游为业，是“国家首批”“安徽唯一”的可持续发展先进示范区。这就是我工作和生活的地方——毛集实验区。曾经的毛集，因水成名，因水成区。毛集地处淮河中游，是沿淮有名的“水口袋”。1991年特大水灾后，毛集人民发扬不畏艰难、勇于创新的精神，重建家园；1999年安徽省委省政府批准设立了毛集社会发展综合实验区，建区20年来，我们逐步走出了一条以生态景区、新型城区、低碳园区“三区互动”为主题的绿色发展之路。

Hello to all! I am Hu Linna, Secretary of the Working Committee of Maoji Experimental District in Huainan, Anhui. I am super glad to greet with you at China Recommendation. There is a saying that, “no place is comparable to the riverside of Huaihe River.” By the riverside of Huaihe River, there is such a city. Ecological civilization is her soul. Cultural tourism is her industry. It is the first batch of the only advanced demonstration zone for sustainable development in Anhui Province. This is where I work and live – Maoji Experimental District. Former Maoji becomes famous for its river. It becomes a district because of its water resources, Maoji District is located in the middle reach of Huaihe River, It is the famous “water pocket” along the Huaihe River. After the catastrophic flood in 1991, Maoji people encourage the spirit of standing in no fear of difficulties and daring to be creative for reconstructing their homes. In 1999, the Anhui Provincial Government and Provincial Party Committee approved of constructing Maoji Social Development Comprehensive Experimental District. 20 years later, we have walked on a road to ecological development, themed with three-area interaction of the ecological scenic attraction, the new-type urban area and the low-carbon industrial park.
Today’s Maoji keeps pace with the times keeps pace with the trend. We rely on the rich cultural heritage along the Huaihe River Basin. We actively push forward with the integrative development of culture and tourism. Coming to Maoji, you can take a boat ride on the Jiaogang Lake, appreciate the flying lone bird and the setting sun, hear the fisherman’s songs, do fishing activities with fisherman, eat the fisherman’s family food and experience the unique fisherman’s culture. You can visit Jiaogang Lake Studio City, browse the little streets in Taozhen Town with folk customs from the Republic of China and the residential housings with its unique Huaihe customs. You can also dress up as a figurant to experience the fashionable movie culture. You can wander on the old streets, try the Caoji tea, lotus leaf tea, taste the Jiaogang Lake crabs, Xiaji meatball and other intersting delicacies. You can appreciate a short eastern ballet – Huagu Drama or a popular traditional opera among Huaihe people – Tui Drama for getting closer to the local folk customs. The beautiful Maoji and the hospitable Maoji people will definitely leave you no regret for coming.
We rely on the largest ecological wetland in the middle reaches of Huaihe River and the 40 square kilometers Jiaogang Lake. We push forward with the wetland protection and the coordinated development of ecotourism. Within the district, it has Jiaogang Lake National Wetland Park, Jiaogang Lake Studio City, two level AAAA tourist attractions and one national water conservancy scenic spot. Next please follow my steps to appreciate the beautiful and diversified scenery of Jiaogang Lake in four seasons! The spring of Jiaogang Lake is romantic. The riverside is surrounded by green trees. The green grass looks like a green carpet. The summer of Jiaogang Lake has the extraordinary landscape. Lotuses in the field bloom and compete with each other. This is such charming scenery, “long and verdant branches; lotuses against the sun in a different red”. Jiaogang Lake gains harvest in autumn. Tasteful crabs and fat fishes，Wild birds gathering. Abundant aquatic products such as fish, clam, lotus root, water chestnut, which are dancing with reed catkins. Illustrating the legend of life. Serene Jiaogang Lake in winter. Flying reeds and snows, Migratory birds. Everything is quiet and profound.
Convenient transportation in Maoji, Advantageous location, Two highways: Jiqi Highway and Chuxin Highway, Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou High-speed Railway set a station in Maoji. Only one hour to Xinqiao International Airport, Huaihe River connecting rivers and oceans. In recent years,cultural tourism, ecological farming, recreation and retirement, food processing and other leading industries are developing vastly and pleasantly. Our Yuquan Bay Hot Spring Resort unifies leisure, recreation and vocation. Bailan beef soup of Huainan has been sold in the entire China and overseas.
