【红色岳西】
岳西是著名的革命老区县，这里是红军第三十四师的诞生地，红军中央独立二师的组建地，红二十八军的重建地，鄂豫皖三年游击战争和刘邓大军挺进大别山的大本营。革命战争年代，四分之一的岳西英雄儿女献出了宝贵的生命，让革命的红旗永远高高地飘扬在大别山上。建设改革年代，40万老区人民继续传承红色基因，战贫求富，自强不息，让昔日一穷二白的岳西发生了翻天覆地的变化，取得了令人瞩目的成就，先后荣获了全国双拥模范县、全国创先争优先进县、全国生态文明示范县等荣誉称号，是安徽省第一个脱贫摘帽县。
【云端岳西】
大别山上有千万重，岳西就在那最高处。全县平均海拔600米，千米以上高峰就有69座，大别山的三大主峰都坐落在这里，是一座名符其实的云上之城。森林覆盖率达76%，空气负氧离子含量极高，被誉为“天然氧吧”、“江淮绿肺”。岳西地处神奇的北纬30度，境内群峰逶迤、林壑幽深,气候宜人，宛若世外桃园，被人们称为“难得的净土”。特殊的地理环境赋予了岳西丰富的旅游资源和深厚的文化底蕴。境内司空山的千年古刹，可以让你追思怀古，见证中华禅宗第一山的神奇与辉煌；高山出平湖的天峡，可探幽千亩野生杜鹃的无限惊喜；华东最高玻璃栈道的明堂山，会让你心跳加速、刺激无限！

【康养岳西】
独特的环境也成就了岳西成为众多特色名优农产品的产地。这里是“江北药库”，有1200多种中药材，产量达8万多吨，中华“九大仙草”中的花甲茯苓、铁皮石斛、深山灵芝声名远播；这里是“中国名茶之乡”，年产干茶近万吨，岳西翠兰茶作为国宾礼茶享誉海内外；这里是“中国绿色果菜之乡”，年产蔬菜14万吨，岳西茭白成为亚丁湾护航舰队专供产品； 这里是“中国蚕桑之乡”，年产鲜茧3500多吨。全县有机、绿色、无公害农产品种植面积达36万亩，岳西翠兰、岳西茭白、岳西黑猪成为中国地理标志保护产品。岳西还有优质纯正的天然温泉，水温常年达五十多度，含有20多种微量元素，属于医疗级温泉水，能治疗多种慢性疾病。良好的生态环境和丰富的绿色产品以及温泉资源，使岳西成为一个天然的康养胜地, 我们正在将它努力打造成为长三角养生养老后花园、全国全域旅游示范区。

Hello everyone! I am Jiang Chunsheng, County mayor of Yuexi County, Anhui Province,the hinterland of Dabie Mountain. I am honored to recommend my hometown Yuexi here.
[Red Yuexi]
Yuexi is a famous old revolutionary county. It is the birthplace of the 34th Division of the Red Army, the founding place of the Second Division of the Red Army Central, the reconstruction of the 28th Red Army, three years of guerrilla warfare in Hubei, Henan and Anhui and the base camp of Liu Deng army into Dabie mountain. During the revolutionary war, a quarter of heroic Yuexi people sacrificed their precious lives to make the red flag of the revolution fly high on Dabie mountain forever. During the period of construction and reform, 400,000 people of old districts continued to inherit the red genes, fighting for poverty and seeking for prosperity, and self-improvement. Make Yuexi, which was once poor, has undergone earth-shaking changes and made remarkable achievements. It has won the honorary title of national double support model county, national excel in the performances advanced county, national ecological civilization demonstration county, etc. It is the first shake-off-poverty county in Anhui Province.
[Yuexi High in the Cloud]
There are thousands of things on the Dabie Mountain, and Yuexi is at the highest point. The county's average elevation is 600 meters, and there are 69 peaks above the kilometer. The three main peaks of the Dabie Mountains are located here. It is a veritable city on the cloud. The forest coverage rate is 76%, and the air negative oxygen ion content is extremely high. It is known as “natural oxygen bar” and “Jianghuai green lung”. Yuexi is located at a magical north latitude of 30 degrees, where the peaks winding, rocks and trees are quiet and deep, climate is pleasant, like a paradise in the world. It is called "a rare land". The special geographical environment endows Yuexi with rich tourism resources and profound cultural deposits. Millennium temple on Sikong mountain can remind you of the past, and witness the magic and glory of the best mountain of Chinese Zen. Tianxia of high mountains out of quiet lake, can explore unlimited surprise of thousand mu of wild cuckoo. Mingtang mountain, the highest glass walkway in east China, will make your heart beat faster and more exciting.
Here, you can also experience the Dabie mountain rainbow waterfall which can see the rainbow without going through the wind and rain. In the "have porridge in summer without sweat" Chinese sports training base, feel the "magic stone pass, the cradle of champions"! Walking into the two national nature reserves of Yaoluoping, Gujingyuan and Miaodaoshan national forest park, you can truly experience the diversity and wonder of "species gene pool" and "natural big garden". Here, civilization of the Yangtze river and the Huai river add radiance and beauty to each other, culture of Wu Chu and Wanjiang deeply blend. You can enjoy the quartet ancient tower in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, drum of night and bell in morning of the Han and Tang Dynasties, mountain stronghold and stone wall of the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and the ancestral hall and dwellings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It can be said that a county has seen thousands of years and is full of articles.
[Healthful Yuexi]
The unique environment also makes Yuexi become the producing area of many famous and excellent agricultural products. Here is the “pharmaceutical depot of Jiangbei”. There are more than 1200 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine with a production of more than 80,000 tons. The Chinese "Nine Great Grasses" poria cocos, dendrobium candidum ganodorma lucidum are widely known. It is the "town of famous tea in China", with an annual output of nearly ten thousand tons of dry tea. Cuilan tea of Yuexi is well-known at home and abroad as a national tea; Here is the "town of green fruits and vegetables in China", with an annual output of 140,000 tons of vegetables.Yuexi water bamboo has become the exclusive product for the escort fleet in the Gulf of Aden. Here is the "town of sericulture in China", with an annual output of over 3,500 tons of fresh cocoons.The county's organic, green and pollution-free agricultural products planting area cover an area of 360,000 mu. Yuexi Cuilan, Yuexi water bamboo and Yuexi black pig have become China's geographical indication protection products. Yuexi also has high quality and pure natural hot spring, the water temperature reaches more than 50 degrees throughout the year, containing more than 20 trace elements, belongs to the medical level hot spring, which can treat a variety of chronic diseases. Good ecological environment, rich green products and hot spring resources make Yuexi become a natural health resort. We are trying to build it into the Yangtze river delta health care and retirement garden, the national tourism demonstration area.
