东昌湖位于聊城市中心城区，又名胭脂湖，《聊斋志异》里胭脂姑娘的故事就是取材于这里，素有“南有杭州西子秀，北有东昌胭脂美”的美誉。
布局方正的古城被东昌湖环抱其中，宛若漂在水中一般，“城中有水、水中有城、城水一体、交相辉映”的独特风貌，使得东昌湖风景区景色迷人、如诗如画。这里的春天杨柳岸，绿水依依；夏天荷香盈袖，凉风习习；秋天荡漾，硕果累累；冬天铅华，水墨。
《水浒传》、《聊斋志异》、《老残游记》等文学名著，都与东昌湖有着不可分割的历史渊源，共同体现着东昌湖景区丰富的文化底蕴。在这里可以登光岳楼怀古望远，赴海源阁读史感怀，游山陕会馆崇义守信。

I'm Ma Weihong vice mayor of Liaocheng City.Today I'll show you around Dongchang Lake scenic spot in Liaocheng.
