【千年古县文韵深厚】
金乡历史悠久、文化璀璨，在夏商时代为有缗国，秦朝时开始设县。2000多年的历史文化，孕育了魏晋哲学大师王弼、三十六计作者檀道济、共产主义战士王杰等一大批名人志士。金乡是中国著名的诚信之乡，近两千年的“鸡黍之约”典故，确立了金乡诚信文化在中国传统文化中的重要地位；金乡是一方红色热土，鲁西南战役的最后一仗—羊山战役就发生在这里；金乡戏曲资源丰富，是山东省出了名的“戏窝子”，素有“书山曲海”之美誉，其中“四平调”“山东落子”被列入国家级非物质文化遗产保护名录。
【世界蒜都享誉全球】
金乡是世界蒜都，大蒜及其制品占全国出口总量的70%以上。这里种植的大蒜是“国家地理标志产品”，连续8年荣获“中国国际有机食品博览会金奖”。我们生产的黑蒜制品、硒蒜胶囊、大蒜多糖等深加工产品深受大家喜爱。如今，我们发挥金乡大蒜的品牌优势，成功举办了蒜都文化旅游节、大蒜健康高端论坛等活动，实现了大蒜产业和文化旅游的融合发展。
【江北水乡生态水城】

金乡物产丰饶，金乡特产的金谷小米，在康熙年间就是贡米了，金谷小米粥营养特别丰富，素有“代参汤”的美称。“开门七件事，美食吃为先”，金乡人对吃特别讲究，地方名吃以金乡烧羊肉、蜜制红三刀、山阳熏鱼最为著名。其中金乡烧羊肉是让康熙皇帝都赞不绝口的，有“热吃”和“凉吃”两种吃法，刚出锅的热腾腾的烧羊肉，闻之香气扑鼻，食之鲜嫩可口；“凉吃”带上一层肉冻，夹在烧饼里吃，别有一番风味。

[Millennium Ancient County Profound History]
Jinxiang has a long history and profound culture.It was called Youmin Country in the Xia and Shang Dynasties and set up as county in the Qin Dynasty.History and culture of more than 2000 years,It gave birth to a large number of celebrities such as Wang Bi, a great master of Philosophy in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,Tan Daoji, the author of thirty-six stratagems,and Wang Jie, a communist fighter.Jinxiang is a famous hometown of honesty in China.The allusion of ‘Jishuzhiyue’ which has been about 2000 years,It established the important position of Jinxiang credit culture in Chinese traditional culture.Jinxiang is a red land.The last battle in the southwest of Shandong Province, the battle of Yangshan, took place here.Jinxiang is rich in opera resources.It is a famous ‘opera county’ in Shandong Province, known as ‘the mountain of books and the sea of opera’.Among them, ‘sipingdiao’ and ‘Shandong Luozi’ have been listed in the national intangible cultural heritage protection list.

Jinxiang is rich in products.Jingu millet, a specialty of Jinxiang, was tribute during the reign of Kangxi.Jingu millet porridge is particularly rich in nutrition, known as ‘ginseng alternative soup ’.‘Seven things to open the door, food first’.Jinxiang people are particular about eating.The most famous local food is Jinxiang roast mutton, honey made hongsandao and Shanyang smoked fish.Among them, Jinxiang roast mutton was praised by Emperor Kangxi.There are two ways to eat: hot food and cold food.The boiling hot mutton, fragrant, fresh and delicious.‘Cool to eat’ with a layer of meat jelly, sandwiched in pancakes, have a special flavor.
