平度，位于胶东半岛几何中心，是山东省面积最大的县级市。在这片3176平方公里的广袤大地上，特色美食养胃，绿水青山养眼，厚重文化养心。

距今约4000年前，平度的先人就在这片土地上繁衍生息，创造了灿烂的“岳石文化”；2300年前，齐国大夫闾丘向齐宣王进谏、说“愿选良吏、平法度”，从此这里便有了一个响亮的名字——平度；1500年前，北魏光州刺史郑道昭在天柱山上挥毫泼墨，诞生了中国书法艺术的瑰宝——《郑文公碑》。这里是即墨故城所在地、“田单大摆火牛阵”发生地、西汉八代胶东王受封地......66处重点文物保护单位分布其间，无声地诉说着一段段动人心弦的故事。这里的木版年画、烛竹马、泥塑等优秀“非遗”项目，无不技艺高超、精彩绝伦，特别是平度草编早已蜚声海内外，被越来越多的时尚达人所青睐。

大泽巍峨、茶山灵秀、云山奇瑰，各有各的景致；沽河悠悠、现河水榭、龙湾垂钓，各有各的情趣。特别是平度城区“三面环水一面山，一条玉带穿中间”，更显钟灵毓秀，成为山东吸引人口最多的区县，登榜“2020中国县域人口流入百强”。这里拥有8处“A”级旅游景区，260多公里的旅游大环路蜿蜒盘旋，把一个个景点像珍珠一样串联起来，让您一日赏尽山中美景。这几年，我们还精心打造了以一里、二里、九里夼等一批“网红村”为代表的美丽乡村示范村，您可以漫步乡野村落、夜宿山间石居，充分体验原汁原味的乡愁古韵。如果您扶老携幼、全家总动员，还可以“打卡”蓝树谷全国青少年世博园和山东省首个安徒生童话乐园，畅叙天伦、尽享欢乐。

About 4000 years ago,the ancestors of Pingdu lived in this land,created a splendid ‘Yueshi culture’.2300 years ago,Lv Qiu, a doctor of Qi, said to King Xuan of Qi, ‘we are willing to choose good officials and to level the law.’Since then, there has been a loud name - Pingdu.1500 years ago,Zheng Daozhao, governor of Guangzhou in Northern Wei Dynasty, wrote on Tianzhu Mountain,which gave birth of the treasure of Chinese calligraphy -- he Monument of Zheng Wengong>.This is the site of the old city of Jimo, the place where the "Tian Dan big fire bulls array" took place,the fiefdom of Jiaodong king in the eight dynasties of Western Han Dynasty...66 key cultural relics protection units are distributed among them,which tell touching story stories silently.There are excellent ‘intangible cultural heritage’ projects such as woodcut New Year pictures, candle bamboo horses and clay sculptures with superb and wonderful skills.
