【山水之城】
铁岭枕长白依辽水，山水竞雄。山地、河流、森林、温泉、溶洞、湿地等生态旅游资源富集、自然风光魅力无限。清代康熙皇帝曾两次驻跸铁岭，留下了“雨余塞草自绿，日出山花更红。辙迹神州近远，骥鸣广陌西东”的诗句。这里的龙首山是铁岭人的母亲山，状若飞龙，起伏蜿蜒十余里；冰砬山国家森林公园，森林覆盖率高达96%，山花烂漫，绿波荡漾；白鹭洲景色优美，人与自然和谐相处。铁岭新城更是一座拥有莲花湿地及优越水域自然条件的城市，已连续七年举办铁岭荷花文化旅游节。走进铁岭，您可以探寻一场大自然的奇幻之旅。
【历史之城】
铁岭历史悠久，文化灿烂。这里有清代著名五大书院之一的银冈书院，是全国重点文物保护单位，1910年，十二岁的周恩来入读银冈书院小学堂，如今这里也是东北地区保存下来最完整的古代书院之一；西丰县是昔日的皇家围场，有着“中国鹿乡”“中国野蚕之乡”的美誉；咸州古城拥有1000多年的历史，曾经是辽宁北部最大的古城之一；调兵山因金国元帅金兀术在此调兵遣将而得名。
这里人文荟萃，先贤辈出，《红楼梦》后四十回作者高鹗是铁岭人、明代辽东总兵李成梁、清代第一词人纳兰性德、手指画创始人高其佩、“字震九州”的书法家魏燮均、著名作家端木蕻良等，都是我们铁岭的骄傲。走进铁岭，您可以近距离聆听他们的故事。
【红色之城】
铁岭有着永不褪变的红色记忆。周恩来总理亲切地称铁岭是他的“第二故乡”;辽北地区的第一个党组织—中共满洲省委开原支部在这里建立;杨靖宇领导指挥东北抗联，创建了“城子山抗日游击根据地”;“最美奋斗者”雷锋曾在铁岭工作生活了170天;铁岭人任辅臣是苏俄红军中国“红鹰团”团长，曾参加了保卫十月革命红色政权的伟大斗争;开原人高崇民，被周恩来总理赞为“东北人的榜样”；中国载人航天工程总设计师王永志也是我们铁岭人。走进铁岭，您可以踏寻他们的足迹，感受红色基因的现代传承。

【A Landscape City】
Tieling rely on Changbai Mountain and Liaoshui water, the landscape are majestic.Mountains, rivers, forests, hot springs, karst caves, wetlands and other eco-tourism resources are abundant and the natural scenery is infinitely charming.In the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi was stationed in Tieling twice,leaving a poem that: “Grass turns green after rain,and mountain flowers are redder after sunrise.The trace of land are near and far, and horse went west and east”.The Longshou Mountain here is the mother mountain of Tieling people. It looks like flying dragons, winding for more than ten miles.Binglanshan National Forest Park,the forest coverage rate is as high as 96%,the mountain flowers are blooming and the green waves are rippling.Bailuzhou has a beautiful scenery and people live in harmony with nature.Tieling new city is also a city with lotus wetlands and natural conditions in superior waters. It has held the Tieling Lotus Cultural Tourism Festival for seven consecutive years. Entering Tieling, you can explore a fantasy journey of nature.
【A Historical City】
Tieling has a long history and splendid culture.Here has Yingang Academy, one of the five famous academies in the Qing Dynasty,which is a national key cultural relics protection unit.In 1910,the 12-year-old Zhou Enlai enrolled in Yingang Academy Primary School, which is also one of the most complete ancient academy in Northeast China. Xifeng County is the former royal paddock,with the reputation of “Chinese deer township” and “Chinese wild silkworm township”.Xianzhou Ancient City has a history of more than 1,000 years and was once one of the largest ancient cities in northern Liaoning. Diaobing mountain got his name because Marshal Jin Wushu of Jin State send troops here.
Here is a gathering of humanities and ancestors.Gao E, the author of the last 40 episodes of “A Dream of Red Mansions” is Tieling people,Li Chengliang, commander-in-chief of the Liaodong Army in the Ming Dynasty,Nalan Xingde, the best lyricist in the Qing Dynasty, Gao Qipei, the founder of finger painting,the calligrapher Wei Xiejun and the famous writer Duanmu Hongliang are all proud of Tieling.Entering Tieling,you can closely listen to their stories.
【A Red City】
Tieling has a red memory that will never fade. Premier Zhou Enlai affectionately called Tieling his “second hometown”.The first party organization in northern Liaoning Province-the CPC Manchuria Provincial Committee Kaiyuan Branch was established here.Yang Jingyu led the Northeast Anti-Japanese Alliance; and created the “Chengzishan Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Base Area”. “The most beautiful fighter” Lei Feng had lived and worked in Tieling for 170 days.Ren Fuchen, people of Tieling was the head of the Russian Red Army Chinese “Red Eagle Regiment”and had participated in the great struggle to defend the October Revolutionary Red Government.Gao Songmin, people of Kaiyuan, is highly respected and praised by Premier Zhou Enlai as “a role model for the people of the Northeast”.Wang Yongzhi, chief designer of China's manned aerospace engineering, is also our Tieling people.Entering Tieling,you can explore their footprints and feel the modern inheritance of red genes.
