【历史悠久文化厚重】
中卫之美，美在历史悠久，文化厚重。三万多年前，这里的先民以石为笔、以石为纸，将人类童年的生活场景，镌刻成六千多幅岩画、两万多个体图像。遍布中卫的长流水、一碗泉旧石器文化遗址、海原菜园新石器遗址、天都山石窟、始建于明代的高庙等历史文化遗迹，向我们传递着人类早期的希冀与梦想，横亘东西的秦、汉、隋、明长城，见证了历史的变迁和边塞的烽火。
【沙水和谐浑然天成】
中卫之美，美在沙水和谐，浑然天成。中卫地处腾格里沙漠南缘，沙美、水秀、山奇。大漠、黄河、高山、绿洲，亘古千年和谐相处！60多年前，中国第一条沙漠铁路——包兰铁路，从这里穿越茫茫沙海正式通车，由此创造出的麦草方格治沙模式享誉世界，荣获国家科技进步特等奖和联合国“世界环保500佳单位”称号。
国家首批AAAAA级景区沙坡头，是中国最好玩的沙漠之一，被中外旅游专家誉为“世界垄断性旅游资源”。“沙坡鸣钟”浑响天成，“飞黄腾达”穿云破空，羊皮筏子漂流探险，船工号子绝唱古今。中卫人把沙与水精巧结合，布局出一座宜居、休闲、生态美的沙漠水城。以水为韵，黄河湿地、香山湖、景观水系等交相环绕，绘制了沙水山城融于一体的独特城市画卷；以绿为美，把充满活力和朝气的绿色，编制成中卫最浓厚的底色；以净为荣，在这座曾经被风沙侵袭的沙漠之城，创造了“以克论净”深度清洁模式。
【灵山秀水康养宜居】
中卫之美，美在灵山秀水，康养宜居。这里年均气温8.8℃，年均无霜期164天，日照充足，阳光明媚，冬无严寒夏无酷暑，全年能玩，四季可游。中宁枸杞、沙坡头硒苹果和石头缝里长出的硒砂瓜，成就了中卫“塞上硒谷”的美名。中宁枸杞甲天下，因其药用、食用、保健美容价值高，益智、养颜、滋补功效强而驰名中外，被誉为“生命之树”。

The beauty of Zhongwei,lies in its long history and profound culture.More than 30000 years ago，The ancestors here used stone as their pen，and as their paper,the ancient human life scene is carved into more than 6000 rock paintings and more than 20000 individual images.Zhongwei’s Long Scenic Stream Site,Yiwanquan Paleolithic Cultural Site,Caiyuan Neolithic Site in Haiyuan,Tiandu Mountain Grottoes,The Zhongwei Temple that was built in Ming Dynasty and other historical and cultural relics,tell us the hopes and dreams of early human beings.the Great Wall of Qin, Han, Sui and Ming Dynasties,has witnessed the historical changes and the beacon fire of the frontier fortress.

The beauty of Zhongwei,lies in the harmony between sand and water.Zhongwei is located in the southern edge of Tengger Desert,the sand is beautiful,the water is clear,the mountain is steep.Desert, Yellow River, mountain and oasis,they harmonious coexistence for thousands of years!More than 60 years ago,Baotou Lanzhou railway, the first desert railway in China,from here through the vast sea of sand officially opened to traffic,the wheat straw checkerboard sand control model was well-known in the world,won the national science and Technology Progress Award and "World top 500 environmental protection units" of the United Nations.
