Hami is located in the east of Xinjiang,Since ancient times, it has been an important transportation route connecting the Central Plains to the western regions along the silk road,known as ‘the gateway of Xinjiang’.Here,a thousand years of flourishing grassland nomadic culture and oasis farming culture,stirring collision, gathering and blending,have given birth to the unique Eastern Tianshan culture,left a splendid historical and cultural heritage.The ancient city, pagoda, rock painting, stone tablet, beacon and other relics are still preserved here;more than 50 ancient beacon towers scattered in the territory are the westward extension of the Great Wall;the ‘Big Sea Way’ that excavated in Han Dynasty,through Lop Nur no man's land to Dunhuang,Gansu Province,it is an important link between commerce and culture on the ancient Silk Road;Hami palace was once the largest, most magnificent and unique architectural community in Xinjiang,carrying the infinite glory of history;Leisurely walking on the edge of ‘Hanman City’,you can still feel the red flags flying and waving.

‘Visit Hami to know Xinjiang’.From east to west, Tianshan mountains divide Hami into two natural environments with different climate.There are deserts, Gobi and hills in the south,grasslands, lakes and forests in the north,it has become the first choice for high-end customized tourism in the world.Yadan landform in the south of Tianshan Mountain,is the most concentrated distribution area of Yadan landform in China,also the largest and most abundant pterosaur fossil distribution area in the world.the ‘Big Sea Way’ is the only no man's land open to the outside world in China,Self driving tour here,over the hills, over the Gobi, gallop in the desert,experiencing the vicissitudes of history and the uncanny workmanship of nature.Barkol grassland in Northern Tianshan Mountains,is one of the three grasslands in Xinjiang.Barkol lake, formerly known as ‘Pu Lei Hai’,is like a gem inlaid in the grassland,sparkling and beautiful.Yiwu Populus euphratica forest with a total area of about 500000 Mu,is one of the oldest, the most concentrated and the most peculiar original Populus euphratica forest in Xinjiang.
