文物宝库 文明璀璨
一生，您一定要来一次平遥，它是伫立在北方黄土地上的千年古城。这里有着丰富的文物遗存，是中华灿烂文明的实物载体。古城坐北朝南呈方形，是中国现存最完整的县级城池。古城以市楼为中心、南大街为轴线，东观西寺、左文右武，城隍县衙呼应对称。四大街、八小街、七十二条蚰蜒巷错落有致。民居宅院遍布街巷，寺观庙堂举目皆是，宝物古器源远流长，旅游景观更是数不胜数，阅尽沧桑而古朴宛然，历经风雨而市井依旧。置身其中，就仿佛穿越到了百年前的明清时代。
商埠重镇 汇通天下
平遥的贸易往来起于汉代，兴于明清，城内店铺林立，商贾云集，一度成为全国贸易和货币的中转中心，也被冠以“小北京”之誉。清代中叶，聪慧的平遥人首创日升昌票号，它在中国历史上第一次引入“银行”的概念，并见证了中国银行业的发展，曾执中国金融之牛耳长达百年。鼎盛时期的平遥票号多达22家，占全国票号的近半数，其分号遍及全国各地，业务远至欧美、东南亚各国，并以“汇通天下”著称于世。
绝世彩塑 艺术瑰宝
世界遗产双林寺和镇国寺，保存了五代、宋、金、元、明、清各个历史时期的文物珍品。素有“东方彩塑艺术宝库”之誉的双林寺堪称艺苑奇葩，寺内2000余尊彩塑精美绝伦、名扬海外。护法韦驮身如强弓，刚中有柔、机智勇猛，被称为“全国韦驮之冠”。自在观音、十八罗汉形神兼备，艺术价值极高。始建于北汉天会年间的镇国寺，主殿万佛大殿，结构严谨、气势恢宏。殿内完好保存了五代时期的“一佛二弟子”、金刚武士、菩萨供养童子，均为彩塑珍品，堪称“中华瑰宝”。

Pingyao Ancient City, located in the middle of Shanxi Province, was built in the Xuanwang period of Western Zhou Dynasty, it is an outstanding example of Chinese Han nationality cities in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is a world cultural heritage, a national historical and cultural city, and a national 5A tourist attraction. Here, every brick, beam and wood you see has a profound and unique historical connotation.
Treasure Bank Bright Civilization
You must come to Pingyao once in your life, it is a thousand-year-old city standing on the loess land in the north. There are rich cultural relics here, it is the material carrier of Chinese splendid civilization. The ancient city faces south in a square shape, it is the most complete county-level city in China. The ancient city takes the city building as the center and the South Street as the axis, East Guan, West Temple, left Wen right Wu, city god county yamen echo symmetry. Four streets, eight small streets and 72 winding alleys are well arranged. In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, the intelligent Pingyao people pioneered Rishengchang bank, which first introduced the concept of ‘bank’ in Chinese history, witnessed the development of China's banking industry, it has been the leader of China's finance for a hundred years. In its heyday, there were 22 Pingyao banks, accounting for nearly half of all the banks in China, its branches are all over the country, as far as Europe, America and Southeast Asia, and it is famous for ‘Land of Wealth’.
Unique Color Sculpture Art Treasure
World Heritage Sites Shuanglin Temple and Zhenguo Temple, it has preserved the cultural relics of the Five Dynasties, Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Shuanglin Temple, known as the ‘treasure house of Oriental colored sculpture art’, is a wonderful work of art. More than 2000 painted sculptures in the temple are exquisite and famous overseas. The protector Wei Tuo's body is like a strong bow, with softness, tact and bravery in his rigidity, which is known as ‘the top of the national Wei Tuo’. Zizai Kuanyin and the eighteen Arhats are of high artistic value. The Zhenguo temple, which was first built in the northern Han Dynasty during the reign of Tianhui, Main hall, the hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, is of rigorous structure and grand momentum. The hall is well preserved with ‘one Buddha and two disciples’, Vajra warriors and Bodhisattvas of the Five Dynasties, they are all precious colored sculptures, which can be called ‘Chinese treasures’.
