青海省·格尔木市 中国盐湖城——格尔木

　　山宗水源格尔木，高原梦幻盐湖城。这里是巍巍昆仑山下的高原新城，这里是中国天路上的美丽驿站，长江源滋养着这里的草木生灵，万丈盐桥横跨碧波荡漾的察尔汗盐湖，“两路”精神在这片土地代代传承。这里，就是包容而大美、神奇而瑰丽的中国盐湖城——格尔木。

　　大家好，我是青海省海西州格尔木市市长冉清，诚邀大家和我一起了解格尔木、走进格尔木。

　　格尔木因路而生、因工而兴，是上世纪50年代因青藏公路修建和柴达木盆地资源开发而崛起的工业新城

　　格尔木犹如一条金色的哈达，将草原、湖泊、沙漠和戈壁连接在一起，这座充满魅力的城市，正在迎来新的发展机遇。

　　这里资源富集、腹地广阔，辖区面积11.9万平方公里，坐拥我国最大的盐湖察尔汗盐湖，钾钠镁锂总储量居全国首位，享有“中国盐湖城”美誉。辖区内盐湖、油气、光能、风能资源丰富，清洁能源产业高地建设加快推进，规划建设四个清洁能源基地，“十四五”末总装机容量将达到2000万千瓦。如今的格尔木，已建成我国最大的钾肥生产基地，有机枸杞出口领跑全国，成为国家级柴达木循环经济试验区的核心区、国家首批绿色产业示范基地、青海省副中心城市，各类生产要素向格尔木集聚的势头日渐强劲。

　　这里是祖国西部的地理中心，联疆络藏、通甘达川，自古便是丝绸之路南道上的重要驿站。随着“一带一路”倡议、新时代西部大开发和西部陆海新通道战略实施，一条条公路、铁路、航空线路在这里布局建设，格尔木成为连接甘新青藏四省区“十字形”交通枢纽的重要节点，被列为全国性综合交通枢纽、陆港型国家物流枢纽承载城市、国家复合型流通支点城市。

　　格尔木文化绚丽、底蕴深厚，是我国重要的旅游目的地

　　在这里，可以感受到别样的自然风光和独特的民族风情。无论是漫步在旱码头国家级休闲商业步行街、体验神秘可可西里，还是走进金鱼湖民族风情园，都能让人心旷神怡。

　　这里有着“万山之祖”的昆仑山，是昆仑文化的主要发祥地。这里有多元交融的地域文化，历史上白兰羌、吐蕃、吐谷（yù）浑都曾在这片土地演绎了灿烂的文明。这里有三江源国家公园、昆仑山世界地质公园、世界上海拔最高的胡杨林，是藏羚羊的故乡、藏野驴的乐土、野牦牛的天堂，拥有冰川雪峰、湿地草原、沙漠胡杨、雅丹地貌等独特的自然景观，是领略高原风光、观赏野生动物、进行科学考察、开展登山探险的理想之地。近几年，察尔汗梦幻盐湖、昆仑山大峡谷、315U型公路逐渐成为网红打卡地，吸引全国各地游客纷至沓来。

Source and origin of the mountains and waters, that is the fascinating plateau city of salt lake. Here is an emerging city on the plateau by the lofty Kunlun Mountains, and the beautiful posthouse on the plateau highway in China. The source of Yangzi River nourishes the living beings here. The extensive salt bridge crosses above the Qarhan Salt Lake of green waves and ripples. The spirit of “Two Road Theory” is inherited here generation by generation. Here is Golmud – the inclusive, beautiful and magnificent Chinese city of salt lake.

Hello, everyone. I am Ran Qing, the mayor of Golmud City, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is my sincere invitation for all to know about Golmud and experience Golmud.

Golmud was established with the road, and prospered with the industry. It is a new industrial city boomed from the 1950s with the construction of Qinghai-Tibet Highway and resources development of Qaidam Basin

Golmud connects the grassland, lakes, desert and gobi, like a piece of golden hada. This city of great charm is facing the new opportunities of development.

In its jurisdiction of 119,000 km3, there are vast hinterland and rich resources. Boasting the largest salt lake in China, the Qarhan Salt Lake, its total reserves of potassium, sodium, magnesium, and lithium is top ranking in China, thus is reputable as the “Chinese Salt Lake City”. In its jurisdiction, the resources of salt lakes, oil & gas, solar energy and wind energy are abundant. The construction of clean energy highland is in rapid progress. It is planned to construct four clean energy bases, with expected total installation capacity of 20 million kilowatt by the end of the Fourteenth Five-year Plan. Nowadays, Golmud has established the largest potash fertilizer production base of China. The export of organic wolfberry is top ranking in China. It has become the center area of Qaidam National Circular Economy Experiment Zone. It is among the first batch of National Green Industry Demonstration Area. It is a Sub-central City of Qinghai Province. There is an increasingly strong momentum for various production factors to concentrate to Golmud.

Golmud is in an excellent location, with advantageous transportation convenience. It is the most vibrant and lively hub of opening-up on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Here is the geographical center of West China, adjacent to Xinjiang, Tibet, Gansu, and Sichuan. It has been an important posthouse on the Silk Road southward since ancient times. With the implementation of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, the Large-scale Development of the Western Region of New Era, and the New Western Land-Sea Corridor Initiative, a number of roads, railways and air routes have been planned and constructed. Golmud has become a critical hub at the transportation “crossing” point connecting Gansu, Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Tibet. It is listed among state integrated transport hubs, state land port logistics hub carrier cities, and state comprehensive mobility support cities.

Golmud has splendid and profound cultural deposits, as an important tourism destination of China

Right here, you can feel the special natural sceneries and authentic ethnical atmosphere. Walking along “Dry Dock” a state-level leisure & commercial Pedestrian Street, experiencing the mysterious Kekexili, or visiting the Jinyuhu Ethnical Park, all bring you the joy of relaxation.

Here has the Kunlun Mountains which is the “origin of all mountains”. It is the cradle land of the Kunlun Culture. Here has the regional culture from mingling of diversified cultures. In the history, the ethnical groups Lanqiang, Tubo, and Tuyuhun, all had their evolution and demonstration of splendid cultures. Here has the Three-River-Source National Park, the Kunlun Mountain World Geological Park, the highest-altitude poplar forest in the world. It is the hometown of Tibetan antelope, and the habitat for kiangs and wild yaks. It has unique natural landscapes such as glaciers and snowy peaks, wetlands and grasslands, the desert poplar, and Yardang landforms. It is the ideal place to view the scenery of the high plateau, to watch the wild animals, to carry out scientific research, and to conduct mountaineering expeditions. In recent years, the Qarhan Fantacy Salt Lake, the Grand Valley of Kunlun Mountain, and the U-road of Road 315, have become photogenic spots for social media, attracting tourists from all over the country.

The spirit of “Two Road Theory”, and the spirit of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, is glorified and inherited here. Multiple ethnics and diversified cultures are merging here, forming up the city atmosphere of openness, inclusion, and diversity.
