贡山是一个团结和谐的地方。贡山，因全县各族儿女繁衍生息于高黎贡山两侧而得名，是全国唯一的独龙族怒族自治县，居住着独龙族、怒族、傈僳族、藏族等20多个民族，独特多元的民族文化构成了“一山不同族，十里不同音”、“多民族聚居、多文化并存”的靓丽风景线。这里的各族人民在三江明珠大地守望相助，齐心协力建设好家乡、守护好边疆，奏响了一首民族团结进步的同心曲。2019年，贡山被命名为全国第七批民族团结进步示范县。

贡山是一个生态优美的地方，全域森林覆盖率达80.5%，是“三江并流”世界自然遗产核心区，我国西南生态安全屏障的重要组成部分.境内秃衫、珙桐、大树杜鹃等1000多种高等植物郁郁葱葱，国家一级保护动物羚牛、戴帽叶猴等70多种珍惜野生动物繁衍生息，是民族文化大观园，世界物种基因库，自然地貌博物馆，养心旅游目的地。2019年,贡山被命名为全国“绿水青山就是金山银山”实践创新基地。

贡山是一个物产丰饶的地方。丰富的森林资源和湿润的气候，为林下经济的发展提供了得天独厚的自然环境，全县着力念好“山字经”，唱好“林草戏”。通过大力发展高原特色农业，将贡山的生态优势转变为“品牌”优势，让草果、羊肚菌、中华蜂、独龙牛这些纯天然、纯绿色、高品质的贡山宝贝走向全国。

贡山是一个令人向往的地方。雄奇的山峰云遮雾绕，茂密的森林千姿百态，深邃的峡谷令人目炫，蓝天白云、青山绿水，构成了一幅多彩的美丽画卷。众多民族在漫长的时光中传承下来的丰富文化，造就了独具魅力的民族风情。独龙族“卡雀哇”节、怒族“仙女”节两项国家级非物质文化遗产熠熠生辉，多元民族文化与多彩自然风光相辅相成、交相辉映，令无数人为之向往、魂牵梦萦。

Gongshan is a place rich in products.The rich forest resources and humid climate,provide a unique natural environment for the development of undergrowth economy,the whole county are trying to make good use of mountains and forests.By vigorously developing plateau characteristic agriculture,we changed the ecological advantage of Gongshan into the advantage of ‘brand’,let Amomum tsao-ko, Morchella, Chinese bee, Dulong cattle, these pure natural, pure green, high-quality Gongshan products trend to the country.
