I am Wang Meng, Head of Wangyi District of Tongchuan City in Shaanxi Province.It is my great honor to introduce you my hometown, Wangyi District. Wangyi District is the hometown of Meng Jiangnv. Meng Jiangnv’s faithfulness to her missing husband who she searched for her braveness when confronting the tyranny and her tearing down the Great Wall has become a timeless folk tale.Today, we want to discuss further about the ethics and cultural value reflected in the folk tale of Meng Jiangnv.Based on the geographic features of Weibei, the hometown of Meng Jiangnv,we recapitalize on the uniqueness of Qin Dynasty culture and loess land dating back to 2000 years ago.At Mengjiangyuan Village where Meng Jiangnv lived,we have been constructed a recreational resort themed with “the hometown of Jiangnv, the Qin people’s village”.Inheriting the virtue of Meng Jiangnv, Reproducing the Qin culture and customs. This resort is the fusion of modern city civilization and ancient village life, which is the Village Tourism Demonstration Base that is currently receiving tourists from all over the world.
