Xiufeng is the core area of Guilin, humanities have been growing up for thousand years. Here we have Princess Jingjiang Residence from the Ming Dynasty which is know as “East or west，Guilin scenery is the best, knowing Guilin through the royal city” 14 kings of Jingjiang from the 12th generation lived here, Its periphery is the most well-preserved wall of the Ming Dynasty in China. Nuo dance culture here has been inherited for hundred years , Dragon and Lion culture is deeply loved by people; East-West lane of ancient lanes in Ming and Qing dynasties, have the reputation of the treasure land of “Green Dragon and White Tiger”; Guilin’s new city landmark, Xiaoyao Building, is the best place that people can taste historical culture, view the beautiful scenery of Li River. Zhao Guanwen, the first champion of Guangxi, Cen Chunxuan, governor of Guangzhou and Guangdong in Qing Dynasty, “Hanlin Brothers” Long Chaoyan, Long Chaoyi, and the founder of Lijiang Painting, Yang Taiyang etc. are all from here.

“East or west，Guilin scenery is the best, Ludi’s scenery is the best.” Ludi stone is called as “State Guest Hole”, “the Palace of Natural Art”, there are many beautiful and exquisite stalagmites, stalactites, pillars, stone mantles and stone flowers in the hole, visitors’ eyes are filled with those products, just like fairyland. “Two Rivers Four Lakes” is national 5A scenic area, most of the spots are in Xiufeng, boats are vertical and horizontal, many people travel here, it has the reputation of “Eastern Venice”. The Ancient South Gate built by famous general Li Jing from Tang Dynasty after pacifying Lingnan is here, it has the place where Huang Tingjian tight his boat when he passed through Guilin. it has luxuriant thousand-year ancient banyan tree. Next, let’s move to Taohua Bay Scenic Area, it’s the most attractive part of Taohua River’s scenery, water flows slowly along the bank, mountains and trees are on both sides of the river,“Autumn moon in Yang River” of Guilin eight sceneries comes from here. This proves what marshal Chen Yi said: “Don’t want to be a fairy, just wants to be the person lives in Guilin.”

Central city not only has traditional business circle like Zhongxin Square, Zhengyanglu Walking Street etc., but also has new landmark of tourism such as Xiaoyao Building, Dongxi Lane etc., More than 20 million Chinese and foreign tourists are received annually.
