Gangkou District is located at the junction of the mainland coastline and the border line, surrounded by the sea on three sides. The land area is 409 square kilometers, the sea area is 2488 square kilometers. It is the core of politics, economy, finance and culture of Fangchenggang City. It is along the sea and border, located in China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone and core area of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone. It is three key positioning nodes of “ international big route, strategic fulcrum, and important gateway”. It is the junction of the three big economic circles of South China, Southwest China and ASEAN.
