“The Yangtze River like a huge axe split the peaks of Tianmen Mountain.Green river arrived here and returned to the north.Lush mountains at riversides were competing with their beautiful landscape.A little ship sailed from where sun rises.”Hello, everyone,I am the Vice Mayor of People's Government of Ma’anshan City in Anhui Province, Kan Qinghe.This poem, Overlooking the Tianmen Mountain is the legendary work written by the poem master, Li Bai,when he was 25 years old and travelling on the Ma’anshan Mountain.It vividly showed this mysterious place of mountains and hills,the magnificence of the pioneering spirit.Today, I will take you to experience the unique charms of this ecological and blessed place, a famous city of smart manufacture.

 

Ma’anshan is right next to Nanjing and Hefei these two provincial capital cities.It is the gateway that pushes forward the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta in Anhui and the core city of Nanjing Metropolis.The Yangtze River across the city,the running river incubated creatures and nurtured culture.300,000 years ago, the county ape men lived and prospered right here.Lingjiatan historic site from 5300 years ago added 1000 years to the history of Chinese city.It was praised as the dawn of Chinese civilization.Here there is the lead of three rocky ledges by the Yangtze River.There is the huge green mountain, the NO.1 poetic mountain in China.It is the place for literati and writers through ages to linger around.Poem master Li Bai has wrote down more than 60 magnificent poems and ended his life here.Zhou Xingsi’s Thousand Character Classic,Liu Yuxi’s On My Modest Room,Wang Anshi’s Journey to the Baochan Mountain,Li Zhiyi’s Song of Divination and other legendary writings were created from here.Poem as media, building ties in between China and the world.Ma’anshan has been holding Li Bai Poem Festival for 32 years continuously.Use poem to make friends, appreciate culture and inherit civilization. 

 

From the last century in the early 50’s,over 100 thousand builders coming from different places gathered in Ma’anshan for New China’s “Dream of Steel and Iron”and worked hard.that is Ma’anshan Iron and Steel Company.On October, 1956, Ma’anshan City was formally built.Chairman Mao successively inspect Ma’anshan twice.Over 60 years of hard work, we forge ahead in the new age.In 2019,  Ma’anshan Iron and Steel Company was merged into China Baowu Steel Group.While continue to enhance the steel and iron industry,Ma’anshan took the chance of the integrated development of the Yangtze River,set high-quality development goals.It strives to develop the railway transportation equipment,new energy vehicles,high-end CNC machine tool,communication and other emerging industrial clusters and a large group of Ma’anshan smart manufacture have walked to the world.The income of urban and rural Ma’anshan residents has continuously ranked the first in Anhui.

On August, 2020,while General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected in Ma’anshan, he raised a new development direction that is creating the “Hangjia Lake” in Anhui and the “cabbage heart”of the Yangtze River Delta.Nowadays, “Two Mountains Theory” is rooted in Ma’anshan and deeply supported by the general public.The ecological and environmental-friendly high standards,the high quality of economic development,great appearance of the urban and rural city area,high-quality livelihood reflect the representative traits of Ma’anshan.
