峰峰历史悠久，底蕴深厚。千年历史积淀，造就了灿烂辉煌的文化，这其中，以响堂山石窟和磁州窑最负盛名。响堂山石窟开凿于东魏时期，是中国三大皇家石窟之一，5000多尊佛像雕刻精美、栩栩如生，考古学界泰斗宿白先生称赞其为“中国石窟艺术的缩影”。“磁州窑”是享誉世界的文化名片，素有“南景德，北彭城”之美誉。千年窑火不熄，百代历久弥新，磁州窑作品典雅质朴，于黑白之间勾勒艺术的魅力。高雅奇巧的艺术瓷、造型精美的日用瓷，琳琅满目、远销海外。峰峰还有“江北第一阁”玉皇阁、千年古刹水浴寺等四大“国保”，太行八陉之一的滏口陉见证了廉颇、曹操、高欢等帝王将相金戈铁马的峥嵘岁月，120多处名胜古迹静待大家去探寻历史的沧桑。
