人说山西好风光，左手一指是太行。朋友们，大家好，我是山西省阳泉市人民政府副市长李君。很高兴今天向大家推介我的家乡，一颗璀璨的太行明珠——阳泉。
说到阳泉，您可能首先想到无烟煤。不错，阳泉是一座煤城，从阳泉拉出去的煤，如果用火车皮连起来，可以绕地球赤道30多圈；假如您到过阳泉，印象最深的（阳泉）一定是一座山城，阳泉的山地面积占到（全市总面积）80%，阳泉是煤城可不脏，是山城可不荒，它是国家卫生城市，国家园林城市，全国绿化模范城市，山在城中、城在林中，一水分南北，两岸添锦绣。我们阳泉这个小城，还是蛮有情调的。今天，我想给大家介绍的，是她不为人所熟知的独具魅力的城市品格和个性十足的时代面孔。
阳泉是一座光耀历史的红色之城
在这里诞生了中国北方第一支正规（革命）武装红24军；这里是震惊中外的百团大战的主战场；在这里刘伯承元帅亲自指挥了著名战役七亘大捷；这里更是被历史选中。于1947年5月建市，成为中国共产党亲手创建的第一座人民城市。至今，英雄（城市）的足印清晰可见，红色基因一脉传承。
阳泉是一座人杰地灵的文化名城
山西有句话叫“三晋文化数二定”，这二定之一，就是我们阳泉的平定县。平定可是历史上著名的“文献名邦”。另外您可能没想到，春秋时期“赵氏孤儿”的故事就发生在我们盂县的藏山，所以阳泉也是名副其实的“忠义之乡”，德厚人自高。从近代的狂飙诗人高长虹、民国才女石评梅，到当代的百度总裁李彦宏、三体的作者刘慈欣，我们阳泉可谓人才济济，群星闪烁，用我们家乡话说，“咱阳泉人啊真沾”！这沾字啊，就是行的意思，厚重的文化，自然会伴随着厚重的器物。“山西三宝”之一的珐华器，纤美飘逸；流传千年的平定砂器、刻花瓷古朴典雅；“世界杰出手工艺品”阳泉煤雕，流光烁金。阳泉人默默传承着千年文脉，也努力书写着崭新篇章。
阳泉是一座天人合一的康养之城
一城阳光，泉涌太行，山水有灵性，草木有深情，这是大自然给予阳泉的馈赠。阳泉古称“漾泉”，因泉水喷涌而得名。娘子关泉由大小32个泉眼组成，是中国北方最大的泉水群，是我们阳泉人的“母亲泉”。大汖温泉被专家鉴定为稀有的“高温氡泉”，富含了四十多种对人体有益的微量矿物质元素。阳泉素以关山辉映著称，固关、榆关、娘子关，关不住春风十里；藏山、冠山、狮脑山，凌绝顶奇秀清凉。这里四季分明，气候适宜，特别适合养老养身养心。说到康养，中国人可离不开茶，向您推荐清代的贡茶“冠山连翘”茶，好茶要配好壶沏呀，南宜兴、北平定，您可以试试我们平定的紫砂壶。洗温泉、品茶香，吃一桌招待女婿的“三八席”，徜徉在山水之间，别具情趣。我祝您啊乐乐呵呵，长命百岁。

People say that Shanxi has great landscape and Mount Taihang ranges across Shanxi. Hello, everyone, I am the Vice Mayor of People's Government of Yangquan City, Shanxi Province. I am glad to recommend my hometown to you today, a bright pearl, Yangquan.
Speaking of Yangquan, you probably will think of anthracite. Alright, Yangquan is a city of coal. The coal exported from Yangquan, if counted by the length of trains, can go around earth for 30 times. If you have come to Yangquan, the deepest impression of Yangquan must be a mountain city. Yeah, the mountain area accounts for 80% of the total area of Yangquan. It is a city of coal, not dirty at all. It is a mountain city, not barren at all. It is a National Hygiene City, National Forest City and National Afforestation Model City. Mountains within the city, city within the city. A river is divided into south and north, Both banks are added with prosperity. Our little city has a great emotional appeal. Today, what I want to introduce is the unfamiliar side of her, the unique city style and characteristic appearance at the current age.
Yangquan is a City of Revolution with Glorious History
Right here the first Red Army 24 during the revolution in the north China was born. Here it was the main battle field of the Hundred-Regiment Campaign shocked China and the world. The Marshal Liu Bocheng directed the well-known battle, Qigen Great Victory. Here it was chosen by the history. The city was built on May 1947. It is the first people’s city constructed by the communist party of China. Nowadays, the footprint of hero can be seen clearly. The revolutionary gene has been inherited by generations.
Yangquan is a Cultural Famous City with Outstanding People and Rich Resources
There is a saying in Shanxi, “three states culture in Shanxi comes from the two ‘ding’”. One of the two “ding” is the Pingding County in Yangquan. In the history, it was praised as the historic state with rich culture. You probably didn’t think of that. The story of “Chinese Orphan” during the Spring and Autumn Period took place on the Mount Zang in Meng County，Yangquan. Yangquan,therefore,is deserved to be the hometown of loyalists. Great esthetic means higher level. From the wild poet Gao Changhong, the talented women Shi Pingmei in the period of the Republic of China (1912-1949)to Li Yanhong, the chief officer from Baidu, Liu Cixin，the writer of the book, The Three Body Problem, our Yangquan has lots of talented people. In Yangquan people’s words, “Yangquan people are so ‘zhan’” The character “zhan” means great. You gotta remember it! Profound culture naturally comes with historic implements. One of the three treasures in Shanxi, enamelware, fragile and graceful. carved-porcelain from thousands of years ago, the primitive and elegant Pingding sand ware and Yangquan carved coal statue，the outstanding handicrafts in the world shine like the gold. Yangquan people have quietly inherited thousands of years old culture and continue to write a brand new chapter.
Yangquan is a Carefree and Harmonious City
A city of sunshine; Rippling Spring River by Mount Taihang. Mountains and rivers have spirit. Grass and trees have deep emotional feelings. They are the gift from nature in our Yangquan. Yangquan was anciently called the rippling spring water. It is named after its gushing spring river. Niangzi Pass is comprised of 32 small and large holes of spring. It is the largest spring river group in north China. It is our Yangquan people’s “mother spring”. Dapin hot spring was identified by professionals as the very precious high temperature radon spring. It contains over 40 kinds of trace minerals beneficial for the human body. Yangquan is famous for its Mount Guan. Gu Pass，Yu Pass and Niangzi Pass can't lock down the miles of spring breeze . Mount Zang, Mount Guan, Mount Shinao are magnificent and mystical mountain top under the cool weather. Here the four seasons are distinguished. The weather is comfortable. It is especially suitable for you to take care of your psychological and physical health at an old age. When talking about health preservation, Chinese people can’t live without tea. I want to recommend you the fructus forsythia tea from the Mount Guan in Pingding，Yangquan. It is the top grade among the Shanxi herb tea. Good tea should be accompanied by good teapot. Yixing from south, Pingding from north, you should try our redware ceramic tea-pot from our Pingding. Bathing in hot spring, tasting the tea, you should have another Sanba banquet to serve your son-in-law. Wandering in between mountains and rivers, such a wonderful experience. I wish you happiness and a long life.
Yangquan is a Lively and Beautiful City on the Mountain
Seeing Yangquan in Chinese ancient village; There are people living in the deepest Mount Taihang.
