Profound History, Ancient Culture
Daying is the cradle of ancient Qi State’s civilization, National Cultural Advanced County, which incubates endless cultural treasures. Zhuotong Well，hidden in between the lucid water and lush mountains，which is publicly acknowledged as the father of world oil drilling by academic circle. It is considered as the Fifth Great Innovation of Ancient China. It was listed in the First Batch of State-Level Directory of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Daying Hantao Museum records the history of Qi State civilization. Ancient Jiguang Temple is the masterpiece of ancient architecture. The ancient small Zhuotong Well created the legend of small-bore deep well, today’s Daying, led by the creative spirit of “Beautiful Daying,”has started the new chapter of utilizing bittern resources scientifically.
