这里文脉悠长、弦歌不绝。临朐地处鲁中，自西汉置县，已有2000余年历史，境内有大汶口及龙山文化、东镇碑林等文化遗址200余处，齐长城、北齐崔芬墓、北魏石佛造像等各级各类文物保护单位669处，汉末“高士”管宁，“世界船坞之父”张平，明朝江北第一位制科状元马愉，明代散曲第一大作手冯惟敏，皆为临朐山水所养育。建国以来，这里走出了28位共和国将军。奇石、雕塑、红木工艺、临朐年画四大文化产业远近闻名，“家家闻丝竹，户户舞丹青”，彰显着全国文化模范县、全国文化先进县、中国民间文化艺术之乡的底蕴和活力。
这里生态绿色、画境天成。“一轴弥河水、十里风景画”，206公里弥水，逶迤入海，60公里生态长廊，依城而建，让临朐这座山水相连的花园城市，释放着无限魅力。临朐是全国绿化模范县、中国最佳生态旅游县、国家级生态示范区、国家园林县城。俯瞰全城，“六纵五横两环两联”的交通路网，全线畅通；滨河公园、文化公园等国家级水利风景区、省级湿地公园，星罗棋布；步入街巷，小巧精致的“口袋公园”、街头绿地，凸显着城市品质；临窗观景，远望见山，近看得水，心旷神怡，幸福满满；置身乡村，村村有特色、处处是美景，嵩山露营小镇、城关红叶小镇、五井隐士等特色镇村宛如颗颗明珠，光彩夺目。更有众多核心景区，圈粉无数。巍巍沂山，10朝16位皇帝登封祭祀，康熙御笔“灵气所钟”，是国家5A级景区、“天然氧吧”；全国七十二名泉之一的老龙湾，水温常年18℃，被誉为“北国江南”；中国五大红叶观赏地之一的石门坊，层林尽染，红冠齐鲁；世界单片面积最大的薰衣草种植基地，充满了浪漫气息和现代风情。
这里产业兴盛、物产丰饶。“世界好门窗、中国临朐造”，作为山东省特色产业集群之一，临朐铝产业链条完善、生态优良，拥有行业企业340多家、市场专业经营业户1000多家，是中国铝业之都、中国（江北）铝型材第一县、中国节能门窗产业基地。好山好水好空气，孕育出了优质农产品，临朐全羊肉嫩味美，秦池美酒醇香厚道，大棚樱桃甘脆爽口，五井山柿香甜软糯，寺头山楂甜中带酸，沂山槐杨蜜甘香四溢。临朐，是中国大棚樱桃第一县、中国洋槐蜜之乡、中国中草药之乡、亚洲最大的鹅肥肝生产基地。

Here，a place with profound culture and endless music and songs. Linqu is located in the middle of Shandong，and has been classified as a county since the Western Han Dynasty with a history of over 2000 years. There are over 200 cultural sites within the borders, such as Dawenkou and Longshan Culture, Forest of Steles in Dongzhen, and 669 cultural relics protection institutions, such as the Great Wall of Qi, the tomb of Cuifen in the Northern Qi, and the statues of stone Buddha in the Northern Wei. Guan Ning, a "top-notched scholar" in the late Han Dynasty, Zhang Ping, the "father of the docks", Ma Yu, the champion scholar in the north of Yangtze River in Ming Dynasty, and Feng Weimin, the major composer of Sanqu in Ming Dynasty, are all nurtured by Linqu. Since the People's Republic of China was founded, 28 generals were born here. The four cultural industries of grotesque stones, sculptures, mahogany crafts and Linqu New-Year-pictures are well known. Linqu is a National Afforestation Model County, the best eco-tourism county in China, National ECO-MODEL Area, and a National Garden County. Overlooking the entire city, the traffic network of the"six verticals lines, five horizontals lines, two rings and two connections"is unobstructed; The waterfront parks, cultural parks and national water conservancy scenic spots, and provincial wetland parks are dotted all over; Walking into the alleys, the small and exquisite"pocket park"and green meadows highlight the quality of city； Looking through the window, you will see mountains in the distance and rivers in front of you, making you feel relaxed and happy. In the countryside, villages are beautiful in their own way. Songshan mountain camping town, Chengguan red leaves town, Wujingyinshi and other towns and villages are just like shining pearls. The towering Yishan mountain, where 16 emperors ascended and worshipped and the "infatuated destination" written by Emperor Kangxi, is a National AAAAA level tourist attraction and "natural oxygen bar"; Laolong Bay，one of the seventy two Famous Springs in China with a constant water temperature of 18 ℃, is known as "the south of the Yangtze River" in north region; Shimenfang, one of the five red leaves viewing places in China, is like a red crown of Shandong; The biggest lavender planting base in the world is teemed with romance and modern style.
The industry is prosperous and products are abundant. "Good doors and windows are made in Linqu, China", as one of the industrial clusters with Shandong characteristics, aluminum industry chain in Linqu is complete and excellent. It has more than 340 enterprises and more than 1000 professional operators. It is specialized in aluminum industry in China, the number one county of aluminum profile in China (the north of the Yangtze River), and the industrial base of energy-saving doors and windows in China. Good environment lead to high-quality agricultural products. Linqu mutton is tender and yummy, Qinchi wine is mellow, greenhouse cherries are sweet and crisp, Wujing mountain persimmons are sweet and soft， Sitou hawthorn is sweet and acid, Yishan acacia honey is sweet. Linqu is the number one county of greenhouse cherry in China, the hometown of acacia honey in China, the hometown of Chinese herbal medicine, and the biggest goose fatty liver producing-base in Asia.
