      石城，位于江西省东南部、赣州市东北部，地处赣闽两省五地交汇处，建县于公元953年，因“环山多石，耸峙如城”而得名。

      石城，是客家摇篮，民风淳朴

      石城是客家先民南迁的重要中转站，是东迁闽西、南下粤北的重要节点，是“全客县”，素有“客家摇篮”“闽粤通衢”之称。县内保留着千年宝福院塔、古驿道、南庐屋、古民居群等众多客家遗址；石城是“中国灯彩艺术之乡”“中国民间文化艺术之乡”，石城灯彩和石城砚制作技艺属国家级非物质文化遗产。客家文化的滋养，造就了石城热情好客、开放包容的良好民风，“请客不收礼、节俭办宴席”传扬四方。

      石城，是长征起点，红色故土

      石城是中央苏区全红县、中央红军长征重要出发地，红三军团和少共国际师从这里踏上长征路，毛泽东、朱德等老一辈无产阶级革命家在石城生活、战斗过。石城阻击战旧址、红五军团秋溪整编旧址、太雷县苏维埃政府旧址、中华苏维埃政府国家银行金库旧址以及那些老屋上刀刻墨书的红色标语，都是苏区时期烙下的红色印记。

      石城，是赣江源头，生态福地

      石城是江西的母亲河——赣江的发源地，源头1.1万公顷范围被列为国家级自然保护区，负氧离子含量达每立方厘米10万个单位。全县森林覆盖率达76.01%，被列为国家重点生态功能区、国家生态综合补偿试点县，同时还是国家生态文明建设示范区。

      石城，是旅游胜地，风光秀丽

      石城旅游资源丰富，“寻赣江源头、走闽粤通衢、淌高山流水、沐峡谷温泉、赏百里荷花、览百年杜鹃、穿尘封遗址、缅红色记忆、探丹霞地貌、品千年遗风”成为旅游特色品牌。地热资源丰富，全县探明温泉点7个，日出水量超1.5万吨，森林温泉、天沐温泉、花海温泉、九寨温泉等4个特色温泉广获好评。近年来，石城立足良好的生态优势、独特的人文景观、丰富的地热资源，大力发展生态旅游和乡村旅游，可以说是处处皆风景。石城先后获评国家全域旅游示范区、国家卫生县城、中国温泉之城、中国最佳休闲度假旅游县等荣誉称号。

My home is in Shicheng, I am an honest person. Hello, everyone, I am Zhang Xiaochuan, Secretary of Shicheng County, Party Committee of Jiangxi Province. It is my pleasure to recommend Shicheng with stone spring and beautiful stones to you. 

Shicheng is located in the southeast of Jiangxi Province and northeast of Ganzhou, and at the intersection of Jiangxi and Fujian provinces across five places. The county was founded in 953 AD and given the name due to “multiple rocks around the mountains, and towering like a rampart”.

Shicheng, the cradle of Hakka, demonstrates simple and plain folkway

Shicheng, a critical transfer station for Hakka ancestors to move toward south and an important node to move eastward to Western Fujian and southward to Northern Guangdong, is completely comprised of Hakka, and is known as the cradle of Hakka and the thoroughfare of Fujian and Guangdong. Numerous Hakka sites are reserved in the county, including the Millennium Baofu Courtyard Tower, Ancient Post Road, the Nanluwu Resort and ancient residential group; Shicheng is the “Origin of Chinese Lantern Art” and the “Source of Chinese Folk Culture and Art”, Shicheng festive lantern and Shicheng inkstone making skills are national intangible cultural heritages. Nurtured by Hakka culture, a decent folk custom of hospitality, openness and inclusiveness in Shicheng is formed, “Treat guests without receiving gifts and hold banquets thrifty” has been widely spread.

Shicheng is the starting point of the long march, and the homeland of revolutionary spirit

Shicheng was compete “red” County in the Central Soviet Area and a pivotal starting point of the long march of Central Red Army, The Third Chinese Red Army Regiment and the International Division of the Communist Party of China stepped on the long march from here, Mao Zedong, Zhu De and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation lived and fought in Shicheng. The former site of the Shicheng Blocking, Qiuxi Reorganization of the 5th Red Army, Soviet Government of Tailei County, National Bank Vault of the Chinese Soviet Government and revolutionary slogans carved with knives and ink on those time-honored houses, are revolutionary imprints and marks of the Soviet Period.

Shicheng, the origin of Ganjiang River, is an ecological and blessing site

Shicheng, the headstream of the Ganjiang River, is the mother river of Jiangxi, the headwater in 11,000 hectares is listed as national nature reserve, the content of negative oxygen ions hit 100,000 units per cubic centimeter. The forest coverage rate of the county hit 76.01%. It is listed as a national key ecological function area and a national pilot county for comprehensive ecological compensation, moreover, it is also a national ecological civilization construction demonstration area.

Shicheng, a tourist attraction, is characterized with gorgeous scene

Shicheng is rich in tourism resources, “Tracing to the source of the Ganjiang River, walking through the thoroughfare of Fujian and Guangdong, crossing through lofty mountains and flowing rivers, bathing amid canyons and hot springs, appreciating the long-winded lotuses, visiting of the centurial azalea, passing through the dust-laden ruins and recall “red” memories, exploring the Danxia landform, and testing the Millennium legacy”have become unique tourism features. Geothermal resources are abundant. Seven proven hot springs are distributed across the county, with daily discharge output of over 15000 tons, four characteristics of hot springs including the Forest Hot Spring, Tianmu Hot Spring, Huahai Hot Spring and Jiuzhai Hot Spring are widely and highly praised. Recently, Shicheng is relying on ecologic advantage, unique cultural landscape and abundant geothermal resources to vigorously develop eco-tourism and rural tourism. The picturesque scenery is everywhere. Shicheng has been awarded the honorary titles including National Global Tourism Demonstration Area, National Health County, Chinese Hot Spring Hub, and Optimal Chinese Leisure and Vacation Tourism Pivot.

Shicheng, land for business promotion, is vital and energetic

Shicheng enjoys convenient traffic conditions. Xingquan Railway Station is offered in Shicheng, from which Quannan Expressway crosses the east and west and Jinan Guangzhou Expressway runs through the north and south. Shicheng adheres to the concept of “lead by Innovation” and “Green Development”, and profoundly and solidly implemented the “tourism +” promotion to achieve the rapid development of Pan-tourism economy. With park construction as the main position and project construction as the main starting point, Shicheng is unswervingly “increasing the total amount, improving the quality and strengthening industry” to boost developments and upgrade industries, forming the development pattern of four major industries, including branded sports shoes and clothing as the primary industry, intensive and deep processing of mineral products, manufacturing of new machineries, and processing of green food.
