在我们广西请吃饭有句口头禅，叫“无鸡不成宴”，不论是家宴、喜宴、寿宴……都要以鸡为主菜之一。鸡代表着吉祥、欢乐、美好、诸事遂心的祝福之意，广受百姓喜欢的是金陵鸡。
西乡塘拥有唯一国家级地方鸡种基因库（广西），培育出具有全自主知识产权的金陵鸡，因为产地在西乡塘金陵镇而得名。金陵鸡有多个品种，其中金陵花鸡、金陵麻鸡、金陵黄鸡、金陵黑凤鸡、金陵麻乌鸡已通过国家审定，并被评为“广西品牌优质鸡”。
金陵鸡全身羽毛红黄色，冠脸鲜红，外观漂亮，肉质鲜美，在新疆每三只鲜香可口的大盘鸡中就有一只来自我们这里。我是韦翯钰，我推介西乡塘金陵鸡。

Xixiangtang is the only national chicken gene pool in Guangxi. It has cultivated Jinling Chicken with fully independent intellectual property rights. Because the production site is in Jinling Town, Xixiangtang, it is named with Jinling. Jinling Chicken has a large varieties. Especially Jinling colorful chicken，Jinling sesame chicken, 、Jinling yellow chicken, Jinling black-bone chicken Jinling sesame chicken and black-bone chicken have been approved by the national examination and approval. It was assessed as the “Guangxi brand quality chicken”.
Jinling chicken’s feathers are reddish yellow. The crown is in bright red. It has a beautiful appearance. It tastes fresh. One out of three fresh and tasty saute spicy chicken dishes in Xinjiang comes from us. I am Wei Heyu. I recommend Jinling chicken in Xixiangtang.
