院长：我们博物馆主要是以藏医药文化为主体的综合型国家一级博物馆。博物馆的建筑是现代与传统的结合。我们的一期博物馆把药师佛坛城的理念融合到我们的博物馆设计里。我们的二期博物馆 是藏文的文献长卷作为设计理念。
配音：藏医药文化具有数千年的历史传承。馆中，悠久灿烂的医药典籍、精美绝伦的珍贵文物、纤毫毕现的绘画技法等，数万件藏品充满着梦幻般神秘色彩和强烈的感性震撼力，成为高原上的文化宝藏。
院长：我们的特色就是以弘扬藏医药文化为我们主要的主题，同时把藏文化的有些特色能够展示出来，能够把青藏高原的文明，通过博物馆展现给人们。
配音：藏医学史上，曾有数以百计的外族医生来藏地弘医，数以千卷计的医著被译成藏文，而公元8世纪，由宇妥·云丹贡布编著的《四部医典》问世，标志着藏医学形成体系，走向成熟。
院长：藏医学的古籍文献非常丰富，有五千多部本。在名录里面，我们还在继续挖掘当中。但是整个里面最重要的一部著作叫《四部医典》，历时四年时间进行了完整的整理。再一个呢，对非物质文化里面的藏纸的制作工艺，包括墨的制作工艺，包括藏文的书法都提炼在了这部书里面。因此这部书可以说也是一个文化遗产。
配音：除了以上介绍的藏品外，博物馆中最具有代表性的，是一幅被载入吉尼斯世界纪录的藏族唐卡巨作，展现高原民族伟大的文化艺术成就，令人叹为观止的镇馆之宝《中国藏族文化艺术彩绘大观》。
院长：从开始到完成历时27年，策划就用了23年。最后在开画以后，有400位唐卡艺术家用了整整4年的时间完成了彩绘大观的制作。整个唐卡里面一共有618米长，700多幅，内容非常丰富。从宇宙的形成到人类的起源，一直到历史、文化、 哲学、宗教、 医学、艺术包含了全部。因此我们把这一幅巨幅的唐卡称作为青藏高原的百科全书。
配音：博物馆是面向全人类的文化殿堂。未来，作为传播藏文化、藏医药的青海藏医药文化博物馆，不仅要讲好青海的故事、青藏高原的故事，还要讲述泛喜马拉雅地区的文明故事。

院长：Our museum is a comprehensive national first-class museum where the main exhibition is about the Tibetan medicine culture. The architecture of museum is an integrity of modern and traditional style. Our phase-I museum has incorporated with the concept of Mandala Medicine Buddha into the design of our museum. The design concept of phase-II museum is based on the Tibetan documentation.
配音：The Tibetan medicine culture has thousands of years in historical heritage. In the museum, the profound and brilliant medicine classics, exquisite and precious relics, painting techniques with intricate details, tens of thousands of collections are full of dreamy, mysterious and strong emotive ability and become the cultural treasure on the plateau.
院长：Our characteristics are themed with spreading the Tibetan medicine culture, meanwhile showing the distinctive features of Tibetan culture, the civilization of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the general public through the form of museum.
配音：In the history of Tibetan medicine, there once were hundreds of other ethnic groups to come to Tibet for learning medicine. Thousands of medical classics were translated into Tibetan. In 8 A.D., The Four Medical Tantras written by Yutuo Yundangongbu was published, symbolizing that the Tibetan medicine studies turn to be systematic and mature.
院长：The ancient documentations of Tibetan medicine has a large volume with over 5000 volumes of books. For the classics, we are still unearthing. The most significant classics among them is The Four Medical Tantras. It took four years for us to complete the organization. Furthermore, the craftsmanship of Zang paper in the intangible culture including the ink making, Tibetan calligraphy were concluded in this volume. So as to say, this volume therefore is a kind of cultural heritage.
配音：Except for the collection mentioned, the most representational in the museum is a Tibetan Tangka masterpiece which was listed in the Guinness World Records. It shows the great culture and art achievement of plateau ethic minorities. It is the breathtaking treasure of the museum, Chinese Tibetan Culture and Art Colored Painting Great View.
院长：From the beginning to the completion, it took 27 years and 23 years of planning. Eventually after the start of painting, it took 4 years for four Tangka artists to complete the making process of the colored painting great view. The entire Tangka has a total of 618 meters long and over 700 paintings with rich content. From the formation of universe to the origin of human, it also contains everything including history, culture, philosophy, religion, medicine and art. Thus we treat this giant Tangka as the encyclopedia of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
配音：Museum is the cultural center facing all human beings. 院长：The future direction of museum development include three perspectives: Firstly we want to continue rescuing, unearthing, inheriting and protecting Tibetan medicine, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Tibetan culture.
