在江苏溧阳有这样一块红色故土——水西村。抗战时期，陈毅、粟裕、坚决执行党中央的正确指示，创造性地运用党的三大法宝“统一战线、武装斗争、党的建设”，创建、巩固和发展了以水西村为指挥中心的苏南抗日根据地，在我党党史、我军军史上谱写了辉煌的篇章。位于水西村的新四军江南指挥部纪念馆，记录着这一段历史征程。

粟裕大将的汗衫
眼前这件面料已经泛黄、布满了破洞的汗衫，是粟裕大将逝世前穿的汗衫。细细看，似乎能感觉到它背后的历史和故事。
粟裕将军一生歼敌成千上万，仅解放战争就歼敌245万，占国名党800万军团的百分之三十，骁勇善战。1979，粟裕将军作《抒怀诗》“半世生涯戎马间，一生系得几危安。沙场百战谈笑过，际遇数番历辛艰。苍松敢向云争立，草劲何惧疾风寒。生死沉浮寻常事，乐将宏愿付青山。”这首诗反映了他笑对人生沉浮的高风亮节，纪念馆馆藏的这件汗衫也正反映粟裕将军艰苦朴素、投身革命的高尚品德。1984年4月，遵照粟裕将军的遗愿，将军的部分骨灰安葬在溧阳水西村新四军江南指挥部旧址天井内，溧阳市委、市政府立碑以示永久的祭奠。
钟期光的上将礼服
这套1955年钟期光上将授衔时穿的礼服，蓝色毛呢面料，通高170cm，领缀金线绣带、金线麦穗与一枚镀金小五星，袖口也各缀金线绣带与麦穗，双肩佩上将肩章，各缀金色底及三枚镀金五星。衣服上每一个细节都标志钟期光上将对革命做出的贡献以及人民对他的肯定。
水西时期，钟期光先后担任新四军第一支队政治部副主任、江南指挥部政治部副主任。充分发扬我军政治工作的优势，赢得了当地群众的信任，所以当年溧阳老百姓口中流传着一句话：吃菜要吃白菜心，当兵要当新四军。
新四军江南指挥部司令部旧址
您现在看到的是新四军江南指挥部司令部旧址，始建于明代万历年间，原为李氏宗祠，是全国重点文物保护单位，是国家级抗战纪念设施、遗址，也是苏南唯一一所重修后恢复历史风貌的旧址。1939年11月7日，新四军江南指挥部在水西村公开宣布成立，指挥陈毅，副指挥粟裕，统一指挥新四军第一、第二支队和苏南地方抗日武装。在水西这个前线指挥所期间，新四军指战员们与老百姓亲如一家人，建立了深厚的军民鱼水情，最终取得了抗战的胜利。
2019年，我们深入挖掘了水西新四军抗战故事，通过动态画框、电影特效、动画影片、时光相机等高科技展陈方式，将司令部旧址进行展陈提升，沉浸式的参观方式给了游客耳目一新的体验感。如今，置身“两个百年”目标交汇，治学于党史学习教育的火热浪潮，新四军江南指挥部纪念馆将利用好以旧址为核心的红色资源，弘扬铁军精神，让水西精神永放光芒。

General Suyu's Sweatshirt
The sweatshirt which was yellow and full of holes, was worn before the death of general Su Yu. Looking at it in detail, it seems to feel the history and story behind it.
General Su Yu annihilated thousands of enemies in his whole life, only the war of liberation has annihilated the enemy by 2.45 million, which accounts for 30% of the 8 million army of the state famous party. He is brave and?skillful in battle. General Su Yu wrote Lyric Poetry in 1979‘During the half of my life, there are several dangers in my life. I have been fight through hundreds of wars, and the experience is hard. The pine dare to stand against the clouds, and the grass is not afraid of the cold wind. Life and death are common, I’d like to pay all my life to this country.’ This poem reflects his attitude on the ups and downs of life, The sweatshirt collected in the memorial hall also reflects the noble character of general Su Yu who devoted to revolution. In April 1984, According to the wishes of general Su Yu, some of the general's ashes were buried in the patio at the old site of the Jiangnan Headquarters of the New Fourth Army in Shuixi village, Liyang, the CPC Committee and the municipal government of Liyang have set up a monument to show the permanent memorial ceremony.
The Suit of General Zhong Qiguang
This suit, which was worn by general Zhong Qiguang when he was given the title in 1955. Blue wool fabric, 170cm high, the collar is decorated with gold thread embroidery belt, golden thread wheat ear and a small gold-plated five star, the cuffs are also covered with gold thread embroidered belts and wheat ears, the pair of shoulders wear the general epaulets, each decorated with gold bottom and three gold-plated five stars. Every detail on the suit marks the contribution of general Zhong Qiguang to the revolution and the people's affirmation to him.
In the period of Shuixi, Zhong Qiguang successively served as deputy director of Political Department of the first detachment of the New Fourth Army and deputy director of Political Department of Jiangnan headquarters. He fully developed the advantages of the military political work and won the trust of the local people, so there was a saying among Liyang people, eat cabbage heart, be the soldier of New Fourth Army.
The old Site of the Headquarters of Jiangnan Command of the New Fourth Army
What you see now is the old site of the Headquarters of Jiangnan Command of the New Fourth Army, which was founded in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. It was Li ancestral hall before, key cultural relics protection unit in China now, a national memorial facility and site of the Anti Japanese war, it is also the only site in southern Jiangsu to restore its historical features after its restoration. November 7, 1939, the Jiangnan headquarters of the New Fourth Army was publicly announced in Shuixi village, commander Chen Yi,deputy commander, Su Yu, commanded the first and second detachment of the New Fourth Army and the Anti Japanese forces in southern Jiangsu Province. During the period of the front command post in Shuixi, the fourth army people were like a family with local people, established deep emotion between military and civilian , and finally achieved the victory of the Anti Japanese war.
In 2019, we have dug into the Anti Japanese War Story of the New Fourth Army in West China, through dynamic frame, movie effects, animation films, time cameras and other high-tech exhibition and presentation methods, promoted the old site of the headquarters, immersive way of visiting gives tourists a new experience. Now, we are at the intersection of the ‘two centenary goals’, the hot tide of learning and education in the history of the party, the memorial hall of Jiangnan Headquarters of the New Fourth Army will make good use of the red resources with the old site as the core, carry forward the spirit of the Iron Army, and let the spirit of Shuixi shine forever.
